How we are dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak and ensuring business continuity
In the midst of the uncertainty around Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to let you know what we are doing to protect the health of our clients, candidates, colleagues and communities.
We’re working hard to continue to deliver uninterrupted service to our clients and candidates during this challenging time, whilst protecting our colleagues and communities.
Following the government’s advice, we have advised and are supporting all employees who can work from home to do so.
Our business infrastructure is mostly cloud-based, so our employees working from home can access our systems remotely via internet access and have the equipment they need to support our clients and candidates.
We have cancelled all unnecessary business travel for all employees in line with government advice and are also in constant communication with our candidates to ensure that if they have recently returned from an affected area, have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19 or who are exhibiting symptoms, that they do not attend the branch to be registered and we do not place them with you on site.
As a recruitment business working across a variety of sectors, we understand that the recruitment process is still needed for our clients; whether that is urgent recruitment as a result of the situation or a continued need of talent for existing roles.
So we want to let you know that we are using innovative methods such as telephone screening, video interviews and online testing to continue to support your recruitment process, as well as virtual workspace tours to show candidates what it’s like to work with you.
The situation is rapidly changing, so please be assured that we are working hard to keep our eye on all developments and advice from the government and trusted experts and will keep you updated as and when things change for Cordant People.
