Job Purpose

The Role of the office assistant will be for maternity Cover for 12 months.

The role is to cover the Office Assistant role as the current Office Assistant will help cover the Sales co-ordinator role and the current sales co-ordinator will cover the head of customer service. The Office Assistant cover will be responsible for helping and supporting the customer service department with administrative duties detailed below. This role is important to help and support the customer service and external team to ensure we give the best service to our customer and maximise business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities,

  • Work closely with the customer service team and other departments, i.e. Purchasing, Finance and Marketing
  • Administrative duties which include but not limited to;
    • Assisting with Order processing through different platforms with attention to detail key
    • Assisting with creating customer quotations with attention to detail key
    • Keeping our CRM system up to date with correct customer information to ensure we are promoting our business to the correct people
    • Market Research to help find new opportunities
    • Raising Purchase orders
    • Data Inputting
    • Filing
    • Archiving
    • Scanning
  • Making external calls including but not limited to customers and suppliers when needed in a professional friendly manner
  • Communicate internally and externally with e-mail professionally
  • Reception cover from time to time
  • Making drinks for meetings when needed

  • Basic IT skills (ideally some excel experience)

Hours & Salary

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm (possible option for flexible/reduced hours)

£16,000 – £19,000 depending on experience.
