Salary range £22,000 upwards

37.5 hours per week

Rotating shift pattern Monday to Friday



2pm-10pm (We would consider candidates happy to work on the later shift, stay on that shift)

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a prestigious client within a small, dynamic team working closely together to achieve the desired results.

It would be a preference for the candidate to have minimum 1 years experience in AFR Operations but not essential.

Job purpose

Ensuring customer requirements are met and documents are completed in a timely and efficient manner ensuring consistent high quality operational processes that enable our client to build and develop customer relationships and fulfil the agreed transit KPI for their very valued customer.

The Role:

When required creating and confirming transport orders to ensure pickup or delivery of shipments

Performing bookings and booking optimisation according to internal guidelines as defined by the product and in line with the agreed transit time.

Preparing,controlling and distributing all required Export documents to counterparts(carrier,consignee,supplier etc).Complying with regulations and internal procedures.

Checking responses from counterparts and finalising validation of required documents.

Following up shipment status in the Export Area,Identifying incidents and ensuring resolutions of incidents.

Supporting customer services in the incident and exception management resolution.

Maintaining excellent relationships with the customers and suppliers

Responsible for identifying performance issues of suppliers and proposing solutions to improve/correct performance

Performing IT systems related tasks to provide up to date information on shipment

Interacting with customer service,product and global service centre if required

Escalating issues if required

Ensuring all interactions are compliant with the companies code of conduct and other compliance requirements

Labelling freights and working closely with the 3PL supplier to ensure vehicles are loaded correctly

The Person:

Excellent administrative skills

Able to prioritise and work under pressure

Broad GCSE level or A level education

Results driven and have excellent attention to detail
