    Cordant People are delight to be recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on behalf of our prestigious client in North East Fife. This is a full-time, permanent position that will see the successful candidate join an organisation who are widely regarded as an employer of choice in the area.

    The Role:

    • Preparation of quarterly management accounts as well as budgets and forecasts.
    • Maintain fixed asset registers for the group.
    • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
    • Assist with the preparation of VAT returns.
    • Checking and coding of invoices and expenses.
    • Assist with capital expenditure budgets.
    • Preparation of statistical returns.
    • Aid the development of the organisations new finance system.

    The Person:

    • Previous experience working in a similar role is essential.
    • Knowledge of VAT partial exemption would be a distinct advantage to applicants.
    • Experience using Netsuite is desirable.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, more specifically Excel.
    • Must be an excellent communicator.
    • Able to create strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business.
    • The ability to effectively manage workloads under tight deadlines.
