Sales Executive
Basildon based with UK travel (50% in peak times)
£Good basic salary

Due to continued expansion, our client is eager to recruit a motivated individual to join their Business Development team. The opportunities for the individual are endless, and will start with you identifying increased business with existing clients whilst researching new leads and following this business through using phone, media and face to face where you will also get the opportunity to visit customer premises across the UK. The company are offering a good basic salary and package for someone who is seeking to develop their sales skills with a professional and expanding company

Duties/Responsibilities
Working to business objectives you will use the CRM system to identify and follow through business opportunities with current clients
Develop product knowledge and an understanding of the key markets
Using external resources generate new opportunities
Contact potential clients by phone, email, medial and face to face
Ensure all work is logged and followed through on the CRM
Attend client visits and exhibitions to support senior staff, this will including extensive travel and overnight stays.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless transfer of orders so that customer receive the highest levels of customer service
Support other areas of the business when necessary
Ensure work is completed within quality guidelines.

Education and Experience
Proven recent experience gained in a sales or business development environment
A rapport builder
Excellent written, verbal and negotiating skills
Self motivated, organised and able to prioritise your working day
Strong influencing skills

Benefits
Up to £25,000 per annum
Full time position. 40 – 45 hours per week Mon – Fri. Occasional weekend work may be required.
