An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join a dynamic and exciting Waste Management business based in the West Midlands area.
Responsible for generating new business across a broad range of services including Waste Disposal, Waste Transfer, Recycling, Roll on Roll off services and Skip Hire, the ideal candidate will ideally have a strong and proven record in both sales and new business generation and will come from a waste management background.
You will mainly be covering the West Midlands area but will have free reign to develop business in other areas as this will be a field based opportunity which offers a competitive salary, generous OTE, company car and other benefits.
Daily Duties Include:
* Cold calling and lead generation
* Identifying and telephoning prospective clients
* Making appointments and visiting clients to discuss their business requirements
* Presentations, pricing, proposals and securing new opportunities for the company
* Establishing long and lasting relationships in order to win and secure long term business
Required skills and attributes:
* Proven sales background
* Waste management experience
* Educated to GCSE level or above
* Presentable and personable
