We are currently looking for a time served Electrical biased Engineer with Mechanical experience with a minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will:

Support the site to meet top level KPI’s

  • Overall Equipment Effectiveness
  • Conformance to plan
  • Conformance to changeovers
  • Line Efficiency

Assist Engineering team to achieve all annual targets in the Engineering scorecard

  • Ensure Asset Care Plan activities are completed on time and in full to a high standard
  • Ensure Engineering Issues are captured on the AIR system, and actions are completed in a timely manner
  • Mean time between failure adherence
  • Fully understands the part your own job plays in achieving business objectives
  • Ensure you act with a sense of urgency and track tasks to completion
  • Takes responsibility for consistently achieving outstanding results
  • Actively seeks opportunities to learn and develop new skills
  • Is aware of own strengths, areas of improvement and motivations
  • Shares personal knowledge and skills with others
  • Reacts quickly and effectively, and gets required support, where business performance is jeopardised
  • Adopts a “it can always be better “mindset
  • Takes responsibility for sharing improvement ideas with others

Improvement projects

  • Leads or works as part of a team on continually trying to improve the process, aligned with NSS plan
  • Carry out tasks as requested from improvement groups
  • Act as an influential member of the site continuous improvement group
  • Participate in any Non-Conformance investigations and implement out come

Health and Safety

  • Raise and close of near misses as required
  • Assist in risk assessment generation and ensure compliance with assessments

Candidates who wish to apply should have working knowledge of continuous improvement tools, problem solving techniques, be computer literate, be organised and able to prioritise workload.
