Finance Manager


Salary £40,000 per annum

37.5 hours per week
Our longstanding client are now recruiting a Finance Manager, this is a permanent position and a great opportunity to work within a fantastic company.
Finance Manager Key Responsibilities

Providing the General Manager with information relating to the financial performance of the business,
products and customers.
Provide financial support and information to the management team.
Managing transactional processes and overseeing/reviewing sales ledger, purchase ledger, cash posting
and all general ledger entries.
Take responsibility for ensuring that the financial processes, systems and controls are operating effectively.

Ensuring the business has effective stock controls and accurate stock valuations
Cash management including credit control
Liaising with the Group Financial Director
Overseeing preparation of the management accounts pack, inclusive of the monthly P & L and balance sheet
Updating annual forecasts
Preparing the annual budget
Preparation of information required for the statutory accounts
Liaising with auditors
Preparing and submitting VAT and Intrastat returns
Improving controls and procedures
Full month end procedures

Finance Manager Skills and Requirements

CIMA Qualified
Good understanding of month end procedures
Experience of product costing
Staff management background
Ability to work as part of a small management team
Excellent communicator
Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines
Strong IT skills
Experience working in manufacturing would be highly beneficial; experience of Sage desirable.
