Our valued client seeks an individual from a financial accounting background who understands P&L, balance sheets and cash flow in order to provide a supporting function to the Financial Underwriting team. The role will involve performing business search analysis, reading and analysing financial statements together with heavy use of Excel.
Obtain Experian personal and business searches
Analyse Experian personal and business searches and prepare summary highlighting key points
Ability to read and analyse financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Spread financial statements into standardised excel template adopted by the Firm
Prepare financial analysis based on set of financial statements
Prepare credit analysis and recommendation
Communication with all relevant stakeholders (internal and external)
Usage of external independent valuation databases
Skills and knowledge required:-
Previous financial accounting experience.
Ideally FSA background.
Ability to read and analyse financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
Ideally from an Agricultural, Commercial vehicle or Construction environment.
Knowledge and experience of operating in a regulated environment.
Excellent communication skills and a good team player.
Well organised and able to work on your own initiative.
Excellent IT skills including Excel plus
This is a 6 months contract role
Up to £30,000 per annum pro-rata.
Initially working from home (due to the current situation).
Core hours 8.30am – 5.00pm.
Monday – Friday.
Free parking at the office location (Basildon).
