Job description

Providing support to the Senior ER Advisor to deliver operational support across all employees Within a forever growing and successful company based in South Molton. Working collaboratively to provide advice and guidance to colleagues and employees within the company. This is a Tempoary contact that could lead to a permanentrole for the right canidate.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a first point of contact for employee relations
  • Maintain HR systems and employee data in line with GDPR, ensuring new starter and leavers are processed in a timely manner and employee files are kept up to date
  • Assisting with General administrative duties
  • Handling all disciplinaries and long sick leave in a correct and timely manor
  • Monitors both long and short term absence, advising line managers and ensuring that staff are managed in accordance with policy liaising with 3rd party health providers as required
  • A proactive contributor towards HR initiatives, working closely with the wider regional HR team

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Provide administrative support for both the HR Services and Recruitment team
  • Manage the HR email inboxes, answering queries, or escalating to the appropriate HR Advisor where applicable, ensuring that all queries are dealt with within expected timescales
  • Produce documents containing colleagues’ personal details ensuring data is accurate and up to date
  • Handle data and discussions on HR related matters with the strictest confidence
  • Build and maintains highly effective internal relationships in order to become a trusted partner in the business
  • Effectively understanding of our people policies and procedures to ensure the quality, consistency and effectiveness

Ideally, we would like you to:

  • Be self-motivated and comfortable working in both an individual and a team environment.
  • Have a good working knowledge & experience of Microsoft, specifically Outlook & Excel
  • Demonstrate absolute confidentiality in relation to sensitive information
  • Have excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Be able to prioritise and manage own workload in a busy environment
  • Experience in a HR environment is essential
