Halifax, West Yorkshire Admin and Secretarial Posted 13.05.19 £8.21 - £8.30 per hour

salary is £8.21 – £8.30 per hour starting salary with a view to rise to £8.60 after a successful probation period

The role is 40 hours per week, with additional benefits including free parking

The role is to assist with all aspects of costing and invoicing all sub-contractors and employee job sheets ensuring that all labour hours and materials are correctly proceed via the internal system and invoiced to their clients to ensure costing processes are maintained.

To work with various internal departments

Key skills/requirements-

  • Strong Customer contact/Customer Service experience
  • Proven ability to take the lead when dealing with all aspects of different queries
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to multitask and manage a daily ever changing workload
  • Job costing experience – Desirable
  • Invoicing experience – Desirable
  • Good level of IT skills – including intermediate level of excel

The role will involve –

  • Costing job sheets and materials to agreed rates and margins
  • Invoicing designated clients to set timescales – daily weekly and monthly
  • ensure all sub contractor invoices are checked with set guidelines
  • Querying job sheets/material prices directly with the sub contractor
  • follow up disputed invoices with sub contractors and resolve them
  • Data entry of job details/descriptions
  • Collations of invoices and job sheets ready for posting
  • Assisting with credit control
  • Answering a high volume of inbound and internal calls
