Exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join a well established company based in bridgwater.

MATERNITY COVER

Responsibilities:

This is a full-time, varied and challenging marketing role ideally suited to an innovative yet highly-organised individual. You will look after the design, digital, & communications marketing activities for the company” brands. You should be able to multi-task whilst prioritising workload. The role reports to the UK Marketing Manager.

A. ‘DESIGN’

i. Create, update and modify brochures and literature using Adobe InDesign.

ii. Modify existing material for customer/market-specific use.

iii. Update/create technical datasheets, information sheets, and similar communication tools as required, working with the Marketing Manager and Technical team.

iv. Be the main point of contact with agencies, printers and suppliers to the marketing department.

v. Proof-read and evaluate marketing materials for accuracy and quality.

vi. Work with European and global marketing colleagues in the ‘graphics’ team.

B. ;DIGITAL’

i. The company are proactively expanding its digital presence and you are at the forefront of this objective, recommending best-practice and benchmarking best-in-class.

ii. Ensure accuracy of the company website(s),reporting and correcting errors, updating information, and presenting the best possible image of the brands through our websites.

iii. Coordinate the social media accounts of the company. Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and deliver the social media plan.

iv. Produce content suitable for social media and ‘share’ positive channel partner content

to improve brand presence on social media platforms.

C. ;COMMUNICATIONS’

i. Based on a design/comms briefing, create, coordinate and take responsibility for sending logging communications to the sales channel & internal teams.

ii. Create and send product update letters with the Customer Service Manager/Marketing Manager.

iii. Ensure adequate marketing literature quantities are in stock and available. Report on low stocks of literature and POS items.

iv. Update HQ marketing database, ensuring unsubscribe requests or detail changes are actioned quickly.

D. Other Responsibilities

i. Book, coordinate, manage, pack, and (occasionally) attend trade shows.

ii. Undertake market research as required: Sectoral & NPD.

iii. Work with colleagues to collate, merge and manipulate various databases to deliver concise information for the marketing and sales management team.

iv. Actively work to improve the effectiveness and professionalism of the department.

v. Use skills and insight to suggest ideas and feedback to enhance sales revenue.

About the candidate:

You should have at least two-years’ experience of working within an office-based environment and be highly computer literate in both the complete Microsoft Office package as well as Adobe InDesign. You should be interested in marketing, keen to learn, and willing to develop your skill set. A full UK driving licence is required. You should be a natural team-player, yet able to work self-guided/solo when required.
