Due to rapid expansion in the Newmarket/Ely/Cambridge area, Cordant People, a prominent business within the recruitment sector, is looking to engage an additional Consultant/Trainee Manager to recruit for new temporary and permanent business in that area. We are looking for experience and a great work ethic as if you have a background in recruitment, you will understand the sometimes challenging environment we work in. This is a new location for us and although some new business has already been secured, you will be expected to grow that business and working with the local Business Development Manager, generate new sales in the future. There is an opportunity for the right individual to take on the branch as Manager and grow their own team as the branch develops You will need a real desire for success, be passionate about recruitment and have a flexible attitude. In return we can offer you some flexibility around hours, great training and a good solid senior team around you for support. In addition, we are looking for the successful candidate to be mobile so that you can visit your clients. Expenses will be paid.
Duties will include (initially) but are not limited to; temporary and permanent staffing recruitment – including advertising, selection, registration, interviewing, testing, conducting the necessary eligibility checks, payroll entry and ongoing client customer service – including service review meetings.
You will need to have some industry experience and previous knowledge of current legislation including AWR and eligibility and identity would be beneficial but can be trained for the right candidate .
We are looking for a start date within the coming weeks and the preferred location for applicants would be within 25 miles of Newmarket.
